Cressi Maya Male - 5mm

The Cressi Maya westuit is specifically designed to suit the Male body. It is made with a super stretch neoprene that is 5mm in thickness. 5mm suits are the most popular style when it comes wot scuba diving as they give the perfect amount of warmth through winter yet are not too hot for summer. If you get cold easily, you could always wear a thermal vest underneath, however the 5mm is generally enough. Through summer is you get too hot, you can open the neck to let some cool water flood and cool you down.

Speaking fo the neck, Cressi Maya suit has a very cool and unique design and it is an anatomic shape neck which means that is cut different to every other suit. This unique shape prevents the neck getting too tight to wear it is uncomfortable to wear which is where most people struggle. It has a rear zipper closure with velcro around the neck at the back and the knees are reinforced for extra durability. The Maya suit is stitched and glued on its seams for not only comfort but this prevents water from getting through the seams with red cotton.

After every use, you will need to clean your wetsuit to get rid of the sea salt and sand. If it is not cleaned correctly it will deteriorate and the zipper could seize up due to the sand. You can purchase wetsuit wash from us at Dive Warehouse which you mix with water and clean you wetsuit in. The sooner after your dive, then better. Try not leave it a few days before you get around to doing it. A great way is to fill the bath tub up when you get home from your dive, add the wetsuit wash and your wetsuit and give it a through clean. Hang on a wetsuit hanger to drip dry ready for your next dive.
